한반도 평화를 위한 미술품 경매행사

2019년은 3.1운동 100주년, 대한민국임시정부 수립 100주년이 되는 뜻 깊은 해입니다. 뿐만 아니라 작년 2018년부터 시작된 남북대화와 북미대화는 2019년으로 이어져서 그동안 남북정상회담과 북미정상회담이 여러차례 열렸습니다.

한반도의 화해와 평화와 번영을 바라는 마음은 남북한 국민들뿐만 아니라 해외에 사는 한인들도 마찬가지일 것입니다. 저희 교회가 "한반도 평화를 위한 미술품 경매행사"를 주최한 것도 바로 이러한 마음이 있기 때문입니다.

이 행사를 통해서 얻은 수익금 전액은 북한결핵환자를 돕는 유진벨 재단과 같이 한반도 평화와 인권을 위해 일하는 자선단체에 기부될 예정입니다.

이번 행사를 위해서 직접 그리신 한국화를 기증해 주신 월호 박영주 장로님, 본인이 소장하고 있는 좋은 작품들과 장공 김재준 목사님과 신천 함석헌 선생님의 서필을 기증해 주신 성도님들께 감사드립니다.

무엇보다 한반도의 평화와 화해를 위해서 저희 교회에 북한 화가의 작품을 기증해 주신 고 문칠성 성도님께 감사드립니다. 이번 행사를 통해서 한반도의 평화와 화해와 번영을 위한 우리의 작은 몸짓이 나비효과가 되어 세상에 확산되기를 소망합니다.

자비의 하나님께서 우리들 모두를 인도해 주실 줄로 믿습니다. 동포 여러분의 많은 참여와 성원 부탁드립니다. 감사합니다.

Art Auction for Peace on the Korean Peninsula

November 9, 2019, 2-6 pm, November 10, 2019, 3-6 pm

2019 is a meaningful year that marks the 100th anniversary of the 3.1 Movement and the provisional government of Korea. In addition, dialogue between North Korea and the United States, which began in 2018, continues into 2019.

Not only South and North Koreans but also those who have Korean heritage and live abroad, are looking forward to the resounding news of reconciliation and peace on the Korean peninsula. As part of this desire, we, Alpha Korean United Church, organized an "Art Auction for Peace on the Korean Peninsula."

All proceeds from the event will be donated to charities that work for peace and human rights on the Korean Peninsula, such as the Eugene Bell Foundation, which helps North Korean patients with tuberculosis.

 

On behalf of Alpha Korean United Church, I would like to express sincere thanks to the people who donated the good paintings and works they hold for this event. Special thanks to Mr. Moon Chil-sung for donating the work of North Korean artists to our church for this event. Through this event, we hope that our small gestures for peace, reconciliation and prosperity on the Korean Peninsula will become a butterfly effect and spread to the world. Once again, I would like to thank all of you who have encouraged, sponsored and visited this event. May God of mercy and peace guide our future!
