Shining Waters Regional Council
Dear Friends,

For 2022 many of us have experienced God’s Grace! Yes, we continue to face challenges, almost too many to name; however, for many, this year has included new beginnings, reconnection, reflection and finally lots of hope. Following lock downs, it has been wonderful to gather in person with our church family. Many in our community have shared with me their deep appreciation for community and reconnecting with family and friends. We give thanks for the message of light found in Jesus. We give thanks for a God of love, grace and hope as we reflect on 2022.

This year we give thanks for our Church family, our many lay leaders, and ministry personnel across the Shining Waters Regional Council. We are grateful for all you do to care for one another in love – whether it is within a community of faith, a cluster ministry or a network ministry – your commitment, dedication and determination to be a ‘community’ is what we do as God’s beloved. We give thanks for each and every one of you and your ministry in this time. We pray that all may experience God’s abundant life and JOY this Christmas season and in 2023

Please note that the Shining Waters Regional Council offices will be closed from December 23, 2022 to January 2, 2023. If there is an emergency over the Christmas break, please call toll free, 1-833-236-0281, ext. 3 and leave a message. This phone will be checked daily and urgent calls will be addressed.

The Shining Waters Regional Council, the Executive, and the Staff would like to wish you the gift of faith, the blessing of hope, and the peace of God's love this Christmas.
